Hello EDM310! My name is Angyl White, I am 24 years old and my major is Elementary Education. I have two sisters and I do not have any children but I do have a precious almost two year old god daughter. My nickname is Angyl Cakes and my family has been calling me that since I was a little girl. I love Mickey and Minnie Mouse, but I have never been to disney world! Can you beleive that? My parents pastor their own church and I am very active there. I also work at Wintzell's Oyster House in between school, military and church. I have lived in Germany, Florida, Oklahoma, Georgia, Texas and Alabama. I was born in Dothan, Al but moved around because my dad was in the Army. Mobile is the only place that I have lived where I went to one school for the entire time that I was supposed to. I went to Davidson Highschool all four years, graduatd and attended Spring Hill College on a Leadership scholarship. After one year there, I joined the United States Air Force and have been able to travel all over. In the military, I have gone to Alaska, the Virgin Islands and Iraq. I joined the Reserves in 2010 to focus primarily on school.

In 2010 I attended the University of Mobile and I really enjoyed it there. After one year there, I found out that my dad had VA benefits that would pay one hundred percent to his dependents so that is how I ended up at the University of South Alabama. I started my first semester here in the summer of 2011 and I have really enjoyed my time here. My major has always been Elementary Education, but none of my education classes transferred here.I chose this major because I love working with kids. As a matter of fact, it is safe to say that they are my passion. I have always been the type of person tht most children flock to and will listen to. I'm exciting about the teaching feild but what I really want to be is an elementary school principal!

TIME MANAGEMENT
The video on time management by Randy Pausch was very entertaining and gave quick but much needed clues to time management.  First, I have realized that I need to start asking "why" questions when I am presented with a list of things to be done. For example, "Why am I doing this?" Also, a great question to ask yourself is, "What will happen if I dont do this?" I also learned that in order to effectively manage my time, there needs to be a plan. The plan can be later altered. The most helpful information was to do the ugliest thing first! I think that is the biggest problem for me. I tend to get the small things done at first and then save the BIGGEST task for last.
